Welcome Back! I mentioned that I have been finding it hard to plan activities for two very different age groups. My current nanny kids, E who is 3 and J who is 1, love when they are able to play together. Today’s activity is so simple I feel silly even sharing it, in fact I’m sure you’ve seen it all over the place!

You’ll Need:
- Zippered Plastic Bag
- Primary Colored Paint
- Cute Baby
Optional:
- White Construction Paper
Squirt some paint in the bag, zip, give to cute baby!

You’ll want to show him how to move paint inside the bag. At this stage, color mixing is not the goal. This is mostly a sensory experience!
For older toddlers you can introduce color mixing theory. After J was done, I showed E how to move the paint to mix colors together. She was so impressed and fully engaged for about 15 minutes!
If you really want to go wild, slip a piece of paper inside the bag for a mess free art project!
