I know. It’s not even Halloween and here I am throwing a Thanksgiving activity your way, I can’t help myself! Last year I had someone refer to me as November’s hype girl, and I’m here for it. I know November first is the official start to Christmas but I wanted to get something into your hands before November so you can celebrate all the fun there is surrounding Thanksgiving!

Since most of you have enjoyed my active learning journals on here and on my Instagram, I wanted to create a few pages for you to use at home. Maybe these will jump start your own active learning journals in the future.
Last month I shared a Roll a Monster game that was so fun. I thought a Roll a Turkey would be a hit as well. In the printable you will find a page with the dice key, a turkey body, feathers, eyes, legs, and even a waddle! All you’ll need is a dice. You and your child can cut out the shapes together. I would suggest laminating them if you plan to play a few rounds. When you are ready to play simply roll the dice to add pieces to your turkey! Older children might like to build their turkey the first game and then on the second round take away the pieces.
I’ve also include a fine motor page just for fun! You could laminate this page or put it into a page protector. Have your child trace over the lines with a dry erase maker. You could also have your child cover the lines with stickers, pom poms, or candy corn for a fun twist!
