Three Thanksgiving Sorting Activities for Toddlers

My favorite part of being a nanny is creating activities and experiences specifically for my charges. I’m able to meet their developmental needs on an individual level. They keep my creative juices flowing for sure!

I’ve mentioned before that my oldest charge, E, who just turned 3 in September has been working on developing her visual discrimination skills. This is an important developmental milestone to master as children move from pre-readers to readers. In order to scaffold her learning, I’ve always included a few sorting activities in every monthly theme. Today I’m sharing my three favorite Thanksgiving sorting games.

In this latest Thanksgiving printable you’ll find a shape, food, and size sorting game to present to your toddler.

You’ll be able to access these on my Teachers Pay Teachers Store!
