Two Ways to Use Valentine Boxes for Winter

Over the years, I have developed a deep affection for Valentine’s Day. Embracing festive holidays has been a source of joy, particularly during the dreary days of winter. I’ve discovered that Valentine’s Day boxes offer an excellent opportunity to enhance toddler fine motor skills.

For our homeschool co-op, I will be using buttons and playing cards to engage toddlers in interactive posting activities.

This Valentine’s Day pail with a wider slot sparked several new posting ideas for me. When it comes to home education, my top essential item has always been the pom-pom. The versatility, affordability, and kids’ love for them make pom-poms indispensable.

I discovered that the larger opening could also accommodate the vase filler I had purchased at the dollar store, adding a wintry touch to the activity! You can easily substitute it with any item you have on hand.
